Utility of BeBack crossing catheter in fistula creation during percutaneous deep vein arterialization

چکیده
For patients with “no-option” chronic limb-threatening ischemia, a final attempt can be made for limb salvage in the form of percutaneous deep vein arterialization (pDVA). In present study, we describe five cases pDVA using BeBack crossing catheter (Bentley InnoMed GmbH; previously, GoBack catheter; Upstream Peripheral Technologies). From November 2021 to July 2022, underwent catheter. The demographic data, procedural details, and patient outcomes were recorded. Successful vascular was achieved all device. No surgical complications encountered. rate 60%, wound closure 40%. mortalities occurred during follow-up period. findings from study demonstrate that use is safe feasible.

Percutaneous in situ coronary venous arterialization: report of the first human catheter-based coronary artery bypass.
Diffuse coronary artery disease is frequently untreatable by coronary artery bypass or angioplasty. Many such "no-option" patients have been subjects for trials of angiogenesis using growth factor manipulation or laser injury. We think these novel revascularization strategies are limited by insufficient inflow to putative areas of new microvasculature and thus seek a more mechanical solution. W...
متن کاملRisk Factors of Deep Vein Thrombosis in Cancer Patients
Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a significant complication in cancer patients which was found in 4-20% of the patients. This study was aimed to evaluate risk factors of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in cancer patients in an oncology center in Indonesia. Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study. Data were obtained from medical records of adult cancer patients with DVT referring ...
متن کاملPulmonary Vein to Esophageal Fistula after Staged Hybrid Totally Thoracoscopic Surgical and Percutaneous Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation: A Case Report
A case of a fistula running from the pulmonary vein to the esophagus after a staged hybrid procedure combining total thoracoscopic ablation and percutaneous radiofrequency catheter ablation has not been reported previously. We describe such a case in a 37-year-old man who was successfully treated by surgery.
متن کاملPercutaneous Pulmonary Vein Angioplasty for the Pulmonary Vein Stenosis After Catheter Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation
Pulmonary vein (PV) stenosis after radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the frequent complications. Percutaneous PV angioplasty and stent implantation have been used as an effective therapy for this condition, yet the in-stent restenosis rate tends to increase after stent implantation at the stenotic PVs. This seems to be caused by neointimal hyperplasia...
متن کاملPharmacomechanical Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis for Deep-Vein Thrombosis.
BACKGROUND The post-thrombotic syndrome frequently develops in patients with proximal deep-vein thrombosis despite treatment with anticoagulant therapy. Pharmacomechanical catheter-directed thrombolysis (hereafter "pharmacomechanical thrombolysis") rapidly removes thrombus and is hypothesized to reduce the risk of the post-thrombotic syndrome. METHODS We randomly assigned 692 patients with ac...
